An affiliate of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen a program designed to “promoting scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, and healthy living and community involvement for America’s teens”.
Oregon’s Outstanding Teen Competition is a program for young ladies 13 to 17 years of age. The competition is intended to encourage and reward scholastic achievement, communication skills, talent and community service. In preparation for the competition, all contestants will attend a “PAGEANT CAMP” workshop being held the weekend of May 21st thru 23rd in Seaside, Oregon. This will be a concentrated workshop aimed at helping each participant build success skills, unique to her, in a number of areas including, how to fill out scholarship applications, interview skills and techniques, health tips, grooming and make-up demonstrations, a fashion show and much more.

Miss Oregon’s Outstanding Teen Competition location: Seaside, Oregon July 7 - 9, 2010

Age: Ages 13 – 17. Age requirement: a contestant’s must be 13 years of age to 17 years of age (no more than a high school Junior) on the date of the pageant.
Areas of Competition: 30% Interview 20% Evening Gown/On-stage Question 10% Lifestyle & Fitness 35% Talent Presentation 5% Scholastic Achievement
Cost: $500 Non Refundable Entry Fee – If crowned at a local pageant the Entry Fee is $350 You are responsible for your own hotel accommodations for both the workshop as well as pageant week
The winner of the Miss Oregon’s Outstanding Teen Pageant will win an all expense paid trip to compete for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2010, being held in Orlando, Florida the week of August 24-28, 2010.
